Hey Dawn. If you ever happen to read this, then I have great news for you. About a few weeks ago, I went to my first comic con and it was a blast! There were so many artists that actually thought I was pretty good for a rookie artist. But there was this one artist in particular who gave me advice that I've felt better than I have in MONTHS! She told me that I have potential and that if I really want to impress this friend of mine then don't focus on impressing her. Just focus on myself, my art and nobody else. She also told me to try and zone out when I'm drawing and ignore the negative thoughts that my inferiority complex breeds. But what really helped was that she ACTUALLY thought my art was good! A freaking professional artist thought that I, a rookie, artist, who cant even light a candle to her, legitimately and honestly, thought my art was good! At first I kept questioning myself as to how the hell this was possible but then after a while, I decided, "screw it. She says I'm an awesome artist so I'll just go with it." After that, I got a HUGE boost in confidence. And I feel a whole lot better than I have in MONTHS. Anyways, that was all I had to say. Hope your doing well! Stay safe! \m/
